SHOT Golf and SHOT Run — Garmin Connect IQ watch faces
Last updated: 13 September 2026
In short: these watch faces do not collect, store, or send
your personal information to us. We run no server and no database. We never
see your heart rate, your location, or your activity. The one exception is
the payment check described below.
What the watch face reads on your device
To draw the screen, the watch face reads the following from your Garmin
device. All of it is used only to render the display, and none of it leaves
your watch:
Time, date, and your device's time zone
Heart rate, and your heart rate zone settings
Steps, step goal, distance, calories, floors, active minutes
Altitude and Body Battery
Battery level
Weather conditions provided by Garmin Connect
Your last known GPS position, used only to calculate local sunrise and sunset times
Activity and training metrics supplied by Garmin, such as VO2 max, race
predictors, recovery time, weekly distance, and last round score
Notification count
This data is read, drawn on screen, and discarded. It is not stored, not
logged, and not sent anywhere.
What is transmitted, and why
Unlocking the watch face is handled by KiezelPay, a
third-party payment service for Connect IQ apps. To check whether your device
has an active trial or a completed purchase, the KiezelPay library sends the
following to https://api.kiezelpay.com:

Technical settings for the request
No name, email address, location, health data, or activity data is included
in this request.
This information goes to KiezelPay, not to us. We receive only anonymous
sales totals — we cannot identify individual purchasers. KiezelPay's
handling of this data is governed by their own privacy policy, published on
the KiezelPay website.
If you never start a purchase and the trial is disabled, no network request
is made.
What we do not do
We do not use analytics or tracking of any kind
We do not display advertising
We do not sell, share, or transfer data to anyone
We do not create user accounts or profiles
We do not use cookies — this page sets none either
Permissions the watch face requests
Garmin requires apps to declare the permissions they use. Ours are:
Sensor History — to read Body Battery and altitude history
User Profile — to read your heart rate zone settings, so the
heart rate ring can be coloured against your own zones rather than fixed numbers
Positioning — to calculate sunrise and sunset where you are
Complication Subscriber — to read training metrics Garmin provides
Background and Communications — required by
KiezelPay to check purchase status
Children
These watch faces are not directed at children and do not knowingly collect
information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with
a new "last updated" date.
